Verdict
Keap's current annual subscription is displayed at $2,988 per year, equivalent to $249 per month across 12 months. A current Keap comparison page describes that baseline with two users and 1,500 contacts. The software price is only the first layer: Keap requires implementation services for new customers, text/voice capacity can create add-on or overage charges, and leaving a one-year contract early can trigger a $299 termination fee.
The annual base is $2,988—not the whole first-year budget
Keap's main pricing page currently shows an annual bill of $2,988. Its current HubSpot comparison expresses the same annual amount as $249/month and shows two users and 1,500 contacts. That gives a clear base reference even though the interactive main pricing page also presents a higher monthly-billing starting price.
Keap offers a 14-day free trial with no credit card, so the CRM, automation, pipeline, appointments, quotes, invoices, payments, and messaging workflow can be evaluated before purchase.
For annual planning, use $2,988 as the software baseline and keep implementation, text/voice, payment processing, extra users/contacts, and optional services as separate budget lines.
Required implementation is separate—and current official pages disagree on price
Keap says personalized implementation services are required for new customers. The current Implementation Services page shows a promotional one-time investment of $500, crossed down from $1,500. Another current official comparison page still says the required implementation package costs a one-time $1,500.
Partner-exclusive Keap pages can offer still different implementation discounts or even free implementation, which confirms that onboarding pricing can depend on the sales path. Do not assume every buyer gets the $500 promotional amount or that $1,500 is always charged. Ask sales for the exact implementation line item on the order.
The current implementation package itself includes business mapping, two automations launched for you, basic data import, up to 15 hours of migration, implementation calls through the first year, and up to two third-party integrations.
Text and voice usage can add another monthly layer
Keap's current main pricing page says Tier 1 is included: 500 text messages, 100 voice minutes, and a toll-free number. Higher Text Marketing tiers are currently $24, $39, $79, $139, and $279 per month as capacity rises.
Usage beyond the selected allowance is currently listed at $0.015 per text message and $0.01 per voice minute. An optional 500-text add-on is $6/month, while a local number is $10/month. Text Marketing is currently limited to the U.S., and availability of business-line functions varies by country.
Payment processing is also separate. Keap notes that Keap Pay or a third-party processor charges its own transaction fees. A team that texts heavily or collects many payments should model those costs independently from the $2,988 subscription.
Annual cancellation has a $299 early-exit rule
Keap's current pricing FAQ says an annual-contract customer who cancels before the end of the one-year term is charged a $299 early termination fee. It also says the cancellation request should be initiated at least 10 days before the next invoice date.
The current support/contact flow allows a cancellation request in the Keap app, followed by confirmation with a Customer Success Manager. Keap's billing FAQ warns that cancellation does not erase balances already agreed or incurred.
Keap's legal page currently advertises a 90-day money-back guarantee, but the readable public page does not expose enough detailed eligibility language to treat it as an unconditional refund promise. Save the guarantee/order terms supplied with the actual purchase and confirm eligibility before relying on it.
Market context
Close Essentials is currently $35 per user per month on annual billing, with unlimited contacts and leads, but telephony/SMS/some AI usage is separate and automated Workflows require Growth. Capsule Growth's newer official reference is $36 per user per month annually for 60,000 contacts, workflows, projects, reporting, and AI, although Capsule's live checkout should be verified because older official content shows a different price.
HubSpot Sales Hub Starter currently has a limited new-customer promotion starting at $7 per seat per month against a $20 standard reference, while Zoho CRM Standard is $14 per user per month annually or $20 monthly. These are price-and-scope references, not CRM productivity or ROI rankings.
Next step
Use the 14-day no-card trial with real automations, forms, appointments, and messaging. Before signing an annual order, ask for one written quote that separates the $2,988 software fee, implementation, user/contact changes, text/voice tiers, and any payment or optional-service charges. Also record the cancellation deadline and $299 early-exit rule.
Keap's ordinary Affiliate Partner program currently pays 20% recurring commission for one full year for each referred customer. Keap also offers a separate $250-per-closed-deal Referral Partner track and higher Certified Partner terms. Toolnavia approval and an active affiliate link are unverified, so tracking remains disabled.
