SendPulse Chatbot Pro: What US$115.20 a Year Buys at 500 Subscribers

The short answer

SendPulse Chatbot Pro serves small audiences that need payment buttons, additional bots or more control over saved workflows. At 500 subscribers, annual billing costs US$115.20 upfront. This official-document analysis separates the upgrade reasons from the billing choice and gives you a payment-flow check before committing.

Choose the features before the payment term

Both Basic and the entry Pro tier cover 500 subscribers. The upgrade therefore makes sense when a feature or workflow limit matters, even if your audience is still small.

| Chatbot plan | Base payment | Practical fit | | --- | --- | --- | | Basic, up to 500 subscribers | Free | Up to 3 bots and 10,000 messages per month across them | | Pro, 500 subscribers, monthly | US$12 each month | Paid workflow features with a monthly commitment | | Pro, 500 subscribers, annual | US$115.20 upfront for 12 months | The same Pro features at US$9.60 per month equivalent |

These are Chatbot Builder plans. Email marketing, SMTP and other SendPulse products have separate pricing; sharing an account does not make them one subscription.

Four upgrades that change a bot workflow

**Run additional bots without the three-bot ceiling.** Pro lists unlimited chatbots and live chats, useful when separate channels or projects need their own bot. The selected 500-subscriber limit still applies: unlimited bots does not mean an unlimited audience.

**Let a payment result control the next message.** A payment button sends the buyer to a connected payment provider. A successful payment can then start a confirmation branch, helping a small shop connect checkout with its bot conversation. This requires an available payment method and configuration; check the provider's costs separately.

**Connect a conversation to external data.** Pro includes API access, webhooks and requests to external URLs. An API lets software exchange data; a webhook sends an event to another system. These can support a workflow such as looking up an order or notifying a connected system. You still need the corresponding integration and permissions.

**Recover an earlier saved flow.** Paid plans retain up to 20 flow versions, labeled by date and the team member who saved them. This gives an editor a way back after an unsuccessful change. It is a limited version history, so document the version you intend to restore and check its behavior afterward.

Budget the annual payment and the separate charges

At unchanged prices, 12 monthly payments total US$144. Annual billing saves US$28.80, or 20%, and changes payment timing rather than the included features. Nine monthly payments cost US$108; ten cost US$120. Annual billing therefore costs less once you would otherwise pay for at least ten months at this tier. This calculation assumes no early-cancellation refund.

The USD page supplies these figures; the main-domain pricing page returned Brazilian reais during this review. Use them only when your checkout also shows USD and the same tier. Taxes and regional pricing require a checkout check.

WhatsApp message and call charges are separate. Pro's unlimited platform-message allowance does not make WhatsApp traffic free. Payment-provider costs and any other SendPulse products also need their own budget.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of the selected period. US$115.20 is today's annual price, not a locked lifetime renewal promise. Cancel auto-renewal under Payments when needed. Refunds require an eligible request and individual review; unused funds can be requested within 30 days, and unused automatic renewals have a 14-day request condition.

Check one payment flow before scaling it

This is a recommended validation task based on the documentation, not a report of a completed test. Prepare a connected bot, a configured payment method, and one product's name, amount and currency.

1. In a flow's Message element, add a Payment button. Choose the payment method and enter the product details. 2. Connect the successful-payment branch to one confirmation message. Keep the unpaid path distinct. 3. Save and send the flow to yourself. As the bot owner, open **Test checkout** and check Completed, Incomplete, Cancelled and Error separately. 4. Inspect Chats → Orders. Confirm the recorded product, amount and status. Accept the flow only if a completed payment gives one confirmation and the other test states do not falsely confirm payment.

The output should be a documented flow and four recorded checks. SendPulse warns that joining confirmation paths can duplicate messages, so check that branch behavior explicitly.

Choose annual billing after the workflow earns its place

Stay on Basic if its limits cover your task. Choose monthly Pro while evaluating paid features or if usage will be short or uncertain. Annual Pro is reasonable when the workflow works, the 500-subscriber tier fits, and you expect at least ten paid months. Recheck the subscriber tier, full annual charge and auto-renewal setting before activating it.
