Rank Math Business vs PRO: Are Client Sites Worth €204 More?
The short answer
Rank Math PRO is currently €7.99 per month billed annually, while Business is €24.99, so the first-year gap is €17 per month or €204 per year before VAT. The biggest difference is not a small feature toggle: PRO is licensed for unlimited personal websites that you own 100%, while client websites are excluded. Business supports up to 100 client websites. That makes the decision unusually clear. A blogger or business owner managing only their own sites can stay on PRO; a freelancer or agency touching client sites should treat Business as the real entry tier.

The license boundary matters more than the feature list
Rank Math's current FAQ is explicit: PRO is for personal websites you own 100%. For client websites or businesses where you are partners, Rank Math recommends Business, while larger agencies can move to Agency. That means using PRO on client projects is not simply "cheaper Business." It is the wrong license for that use case. The Business premium should therefore be evaluated against actual client work, not just against the number of sites you manage.
Business also raises rank-tracking capacity sharply
PRO tracks up to 500 keywords across connected websites; Business raises that to 10,000. If your workflow actually uses rank tracking across many client sites, that is a 20× increase in included keyword capacity. A solo publisher tracking a few hundred keywords will not benefit much from the extra allowance, but a client SEO workflow can consume 500 keywords quickly once several sites, categories and locations are monitored.
Renewal increases the annual gap again
Current pricing shows PRO renewing at €8.99 per month billed annually, or €107.88 per year, while Business renews at €27.99 per month, or €335.88 per year. The renewal gap is therefore €228 per year before taxes, slightly larger than the €204 first-year gap. Buyers should budget on the renewal prices if they expect to keep the plugin active beyond year one, especially for client work where stopping updates and support is usually not desirable.
Business is not automatically better for "many sites"
PRO already supports unlimited personal websites, so sheer site count is not enough to justify Business. Ten personal blogs can still fit PRO if they are all genuinely yours. Business becomes the better fit when the sites are client-owned, jointly owned, or when the 10,000-keyword tracker and client-oriented reporting/management features solve a real service-delivery need. That distinction prevents a common overbuying mistake: paying agency-level pricing just because the dashboard contains many sites.
The affiliate program is open and pays 30%
Rank Math's official affiliate program advertises 30% commission on qualifying sales and upgrades, uses a 60-day last-click cookie, and pays once the affiliate balance reaches the current threshold after the refund window. The public program also pays a small amount for qualified free-account signups. Toolnavia has not applied or been approved, so affiliate tracking remains disabled and no paid referral CTA is presented as active.
The buying rule is simple: choose PRO for websites you personally own. Choose Business when client-site licensing is genuinely required or when 500 tracked keywords is no longer enough. If neither applies, paying €204 more in the first year buys capacity and permissions you may never use.
