Verdict

Jotform Bronze is mainly a capacity and branding upgrade over the permanent Starter plan. Starter gives you 5 active forms, 100 monthly submissions, 100 MB of upload space, 500 stored submissions, 100 fields per form, and 10 monthly payment submissions. Bronze currently costs $34/month billed annually—$408/year at the displayed list—and raises those limits to 25 forms, 1,000 monthly submissions, 1 GB of upload space, 10,000 stored submissions, 250 fields, and 100 monthly payment submissions while removing Jotform branding.

What the $408/year upgrade changes

**Responses:** Starter allows 100 submissions across the account each month; Bronze allows 1,000. That tenfold jump is the clearest reason to pay when a real form workflow repeatedly hits Free.

**Active forms:** Starter supports 5 active forms and Bronze 25. Multiple lead, order, application, feedback, and internal forms can therefore stay live without constantly archiving one to activate another.

**Storage:** Bronze raises upload space from 100 MB to 1 GB and total submission storage from 500 to 10,000 entries. It also increases fields per form from 100 to 250.

**Payments and branding:** Bronze raises monthly payment submissions from 10 to 100 and removes Jotform branding. Payment-processor fees remain separate from Jotform's account limits.

One current Jotform number is too inconsistent to use

Current Jotform surfaces disagree about Starter's monthly signed-document allowance. The current pricing card shows 10 signed documents for Starter and 100 for Bronze, while a recent Jotform Support page says Starter includes 100 monthly signed documents.

Because of that conflict, this guide does not use e-signature volume as a reason to buy Bronze. If Jotform Sign is important, verify the live Pricing and Account Usage pages in your own account before choosing a plan.

Bronze vs Silver: only $60/year apart

Bronze is currently $34/month billed annually, or $408/year. Silver is $39/month billed annually, or $468/year—only $60 more per year.

That extra $60 currently increases active forms from 25 to 50, monthly submissions from 1,000 to 2,500, upload space from 1 GB to 10 GB, stored submissions from 10,000 to 25,000, and monthly payment submissions from 100 to 250.

So Bronze fits best when Starter is clearly too small but 1,000 monthly submissions still leaves headroom. If you expect to approach that ceiling soon, compare Silver before buying Bronze.

Billing, refund, and storage boundaries

Jotform is recurring: monthly plans renew monthly and yearly plans renew yearly unless canceled. Its current FAQ also says some promotional yearly upgrades renew at the full plan price in the next payment period, so save your own checkout terms instead of assuming a temporary discount repeats.

There is no separate paid-plan trial; Jotform directs users to Starter to try standard features indefinitely. The pricing page currently offers a 30-day money-back guarantee after payment. Canceling and requesting a refund are separate actions: after cancellation you retain the paid plan through the current billing period and then downgrade to Starter; refund requests go through Support.

Jotform also warns that when total submission storage is exceeded, the oldest response can be deleted to make room for new ones. Export and purge data deliberately before reaching that boundary.

Market context

Typeform Basic currently lists at $25/month billed annually ($29 monthly), with unlimited forms but a 100-response monthly base and one seat. Cognito Forms Pro currently displays $19/month billed annually with unlimited forms, 2,000 monthly entries, 1 GB storage, e-signatures, and branding removal. Formstack Forms starts at $83/month paid annually for 25 forms, 1,000 submissions per form, and 2 GB storage.

Google Workspace Business Starter is a broader suite rather than a dedicated Jotform substitute; the current standard US annual rate is $7/user/month and Google Forms is included in Workspace. These are scope references, not rankings of form quality, uptime, or conversion.

Next step

Stay on Starter until a real capacity or branding limit hurts. Move to Bronze when you genuinely need more than 5 active forms, more than 100 monthly submissions, more payment capacity, more storage, or unbranded forms. If monthly responses may soon exceed 1,000, Silver deserves a look because it is currently only $5/month more on annual billing.

Jotform's public Affiliate Partner page advertises 30% commission on new paid users. Other Jotform partner pages use inconsistent wording about how long Affiliate commissions recur, so Toolnavia approval and recurrence terms are left unverified and tracking remains disabled.
