Verdict

Capsule Growth is currently published at $36 per user per month when billed annually, or a static $432 per user for 12 months at that displayed rate. It raises the contact limit to 60,000 and adds workflow automations, multiple sales pipelines and project boards, advanced reporting, and several AI features. The bigger purchasing risk is the annual cancellation rule: Capsule bills annual subscriptions in advance, gives no refund or credit for partial periods, and cancellation makes the account inaccessible immediately rather than waiting until the paid term ends.

Free and Starter can be enough before Growth

Capsule Free currently supports up to two users and 250 contacts. Starter raises capacity to 30,000 contacts and adds email templates, a shared mailbox, basic reporting, premium integrations, goals, and AI Pipeline Generator.

Growth is the point where the product becomes more automation- and team-oriented: 60,000 contacts, workflow automations, advanced sales reports and dashboards, multiple sales pipelines, multiple project boards, project management, team/access controls, AI Business Enrichment, AI Summaries, AI Contact Enrichment, and AI Meeting Prep.

For a small company that does not need workflow automation or multiple pipelines, Starter may be the cleaner paid tier. Growth earns its premium when the team actually uses those operational features rather than simply needing more contacts.

The published Growth price is $36—but older Capsule pages still say $34

Capsule's March 2026 AI CRM buyer guide publishes Growth at $36 per user per month, billed annually. At that displayed rate, one user is a nominal $432 per year and five users are $2,160 per year before tax or later price changes.

However, an older official Capsule article still carries $34 per user per month for Growth. The current live pricing page confirms the Growth plan, 60,000-contact limit, annual billing default, and features, but its static readable version does not expose the numeric price.

This guide therefore uses the newer 2026 $36 official reference while treating the live checkout as the final price authority. Do not assume an older $34 page is still the price you will receive.

Annual billing has a sharp cancellation boundary

Capsule's Terms say subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance and automatically renew until canceled. Capsule may change plan fees with at least 30 days' notice, with annual increases taking effect at renewal. There is no refund or credit for a partial period of service.

For annual customers, Capsule reviews user counts monthly and invoices additional users on a prorated basis for the remainder of the current annual term. That means adding seats after purchase can increase the bill before the next renewal.

Cancellation is immediate. When the Super Administrator cancels the account, recurring billing stops and the account/content becomes inaccessible. Capsule allows a 14-day period to request restoration; after that, the account and live customer data are permanently deleted, though partial backup/archive data may remain for up to 50 days. Export before canceling.

Trial behavior depends on how you enter the paid plan

A new account opened directly on a paid plan receives a 14-day trial, and the current pricing page says no card is required for that trial. Billing begins when the trial ends if the account continues.

The Free-to-paid path is different. Capsule's billing help says that if an existing Free account upgrades to a paid plan, payment starts as soon as card details are entered. Do not assume the new-account 14-day trial is repeated when converting an existing Free account.

Use a fresh trial or the permanent Free plan to validate workflow automation, pipelines, reports, AI summaries, and project boards before paying annually.

Market context

Pipedrive Growth is currently $39 per seat per month billed annually, or $468 per seat/year, with email sync, automations, nurturing sequences, scheduling, and forecasting. Close Essentials is $35 per user per month annual-equivalent, has unlimited contacts and leads, but telephony/SMS/some AI usage are separate and automated Workflows require Growth.

Copper Professional is $59 per seat per month billed annually with a 15,000-contact limit, workflow automation, bulk email, reporting, and integrations. Zoho CRM Standard is $14 per user per month annually or $20 monthly and maintains a Free tier for up to three users. These are price-and-scope references, not CRM productivity or sales-performance rankings.

Next step

Start with Free or the 14-day paid trial and build one real pipeline, one project board, and one workflow automation. Confirm that Growth's 60,000-contact capacity and AI/reporting features replace real manual work. If annual Growth is the right fit, export data before any future cancellation and remember that canceling immediately removes access without a partial-term refund.
