Namecheap Quasar vs ChemiCloud Cloud 1: $61.76 Stack or $32.95 Display?
The short answer
Namecheap Quasar and ChemiCloud Cloud 1 can both become managed cPanel VPS purchases, but the headline numbers describe different things. A monthly Namecheap Quasar stack is **US$18.88 server + US$25 Complete management + US$17.88 cPanel Solo = US$61.76/month**. ChemiCloud currently displays Cloud 1 at **US$32.95/month** with full management and one cPanel Solo licence included. That apparent gap is not an equal-term checkout comparison: ChemiCloud does not expose a stable selectable billing cycle in the public evidence, and its own pages conflict on older price figures.
Namecheap publishes 4 CPU cores, 6GB RAM, 120GB SSD RAID10 and 3TB transfer. Complete management removes root access, gives reseller-level access and includes one weekly offsite backup copy up to 100GB if the data fits. ChemiCloud publishes 2 CPU, 4GB RAM, 80GB NVMe and 4TB transfer, includes management and one cPanel account, but daily 30-day remote backup is a separate US$9.95/month add-on.

Quick verdict
Choose **Namecheap Quasar + Complete + cPanel Solo** when extra CPU, RAM and local storage matter, a weekly managed backup copy fits the recovery plan, and reseller-level access is acceptable.
Choose **ChemiCloud Cloud 1** when 2 CPU, 4GB and 80GB are enough, one cPanel account fits, and the lower display survives the exact cycle in the cart. Add US$9.95 for daily remote backup before comparing like with like.
No controlled benchmark was run. Resource labels, management scope, backup design and checkout totals—not a claimed speed winner—decide this purchase.
Price the whole stack
Namecheap's Quasar monthly server price is US$18.88. Complete management is US$25/month and requires cPanel; Solo starts at US$17.88/month. The reconstructed monthly total is **US$61.76** before tax or extras.
Namecheap also publishes a yearly server-only price of US$154.56, renewing at US$190.56/year. That does not make the full managed stack annual: management and cPanel remain monthly components unless the cart states otherwise.
ChemiCloud's main page displays **US$32.95/month** against US$59.95 regular. Its own explainer and regional pages still expose older US$29.95/US$54.95 figures, and the VPS page can say a selected timeframe is unavailable. This article treats US$32.95 as current display pricing and requires the cart to establish cycle, first invoice and renewal.
Resources and upgrade pressure
Quasar publishes 4 CPU, 6GB RAM, 120GB SSD RAID10 and 3TB transfer. Cloud 1 publishes 2 CPU, 4GB RAM, 80GB NVMe and 4TB.
Quasar's extra 2GB RAM and two CPU cores may matter for several stores, larger caches or databases. Cloud 1 publishes 1TB more transfer. Neither difference proves performance because CPU model, contention, storage implementation and application design remain unknown.
Use measured peak RAM, CPU saturation, storage growth and transfer. A workload already near 4GB can force an early Cloud 1 upgrade; a light workload may never use Quasar's extra capacity.
Access and management
Namecheap Complete provides reseller-level access rather than root. Namecheap keeps root so its team can manage the server. Complete includes core software changes, incident root-cause work, restoration after server failure, monitoring and cPGuard, and requires AlmaLinux plus cPanel.
That boundary suits a buyer outsourcing the base stack but not custom kernels, unsupported daemons or root-only automation. If root is mandatory, this exact Namecheap configuration is wrong.
ChemiCloud labels Cloud 1 fully managed and includes cPanel Solo. Confirm root policy, supported software and escalation scope in writing; “fully managed” does not define every application or third-party component.
Backups can change the winner
Namecheap Complete includes up to 100GB offsite storage for Quasar and one weekly copy when data fits. One weekly copy is not a 30-day daily history, so critical data still needs an independent copy.
ChemiCloud's 80GB daily remote backup costs **US$9.95/month** and retains up to 30 days. Adding it to US$32.95 produces **US$42.90/month** before tax or other add-ons.
That visible scenario is US$18.86 below Namecheap's US$61.76. If ChemiCloud renews at the current US$59.95 regular reference, the same backup stack would be US$69.90—US$8.14 above Namecheap. This is scenario math, not a renewal quote; checkout and the client area control.
Refund and migration risk
Namecheap advertises a 30-day VPS guarantee. ChemiCloud limits VPS to seven days, excludes cPanel and backup add-ons, and excludes renewals.
Prepare DNS, mail, cron, restore and load tests before activation if using a seven-day window. Export an independent backup before production cutover and confirm refund treatment before buying add-ons.
Evidence conflict
Search results show a direct brand comparison plus independent VPS reviews, establishing real provider-selection intent. Their ratings and speed claims are not imported.
The unresolved conflict is ChemiCloud pricing: the main page says US$32.95/US$59.95, while other official pages still show US$29.95/US$54.95. The main display is used, but no fixed cycle or renewal is claimed without cart evidence.
Checkout checklist
For **Namecheap**, confirm Quasar, monthly server price, Complete, AlmaLinux, cPanel Solo account count, reseller access, total due, component renewals, backup fit, location and extras.
For **ChemiCloud**, confirm Cloud 1, selectable cycle, first invoice, renewal, resources, one cPanel account, root/support boundaries, remote backup and the seven-day guarantee.
**Bottom line:** Namecheap is the higher-capacity, explicitly assembled managed stack. ChemiCloud is the lower public display with management bundled. ChemiCloud wins the initial visible-cost scenario only if its cart preserves the rate and cycle required.
