ChemiCloud Cloud 1 VPS: Solo cPanel, Backup Cost and the $32.95 Display

The short answer

ChemiCloud Cloud 1 is a managed VPS for conventional websites that need isolated resources without routine server administration. The live page displays $32.95 per month against $59.95 regular but also marks the selected timeframe unavailable. Treat it as a display, not a captured order.

At a glance

Best for
A conventional web workload that fits 2 CPU cores/4GB RAM and benefits from managed server work, with one cPanel account or a budgeted license upgrade.
Price model
Live display $32.95/mo vs $59.95 regular; selected timeframe availability unconfirmed; 80GB Remote Backup $9.95 add-on

The $32.95 display is not a captured checkout price

Cloud 1 lists 2 CPU cores, 4GB RAM, 80GB NVMe storage and 4TB bandwidth. The page also describes full management, monitoring, a dedicated IP, cPanel and migration assistance. Those are useful specifications for screening a workload, but they do not establish performance for your application.

The current Order Now link generated from Cloud 1 explicitly enters a monthly billing route, yet the domain-first cart step does not show the plan price and its generic footer still advertises a 45-day guarantee. Meanwhile, the live product page says the selected timeframe is unavailable. Because those current official screens do not form one clean order summary, verify the billing cycle, first invoice and next recurring charge before paying.

Four practical benefits come with defined boundaries

First, the explicit CPU, memory, disk and transfer allocations make capacity planning clearer than an unlimited-resource claim. Leave headroom for the operating system, databases, logs and maintenance.

Second, ChemiCloud describes Cloud 1 as fully managed, including managed software and security updates plus server monitoring. That can reduce routine infrastructure work, but it does not mean custom application development or every third-party configuration is included.

Third, every current VPS plan includes a cPanel Solo license. Solo means one cPanel account; buyers who need more accounts must upgrade the license. Fourth, external migration assistance can reduce switching work, but its documented scope and timing still matter.

One free Solo account can be smaller than the migration allowance

ChemiCloud's migration guide says requests made within 60 days can include up to 200 cPanel accounts, or up to 10 non-cPanel websites plus limited non-cPanel email migration. Cloud 1, however, includes only cPanel Solo, which supports one cPanel account.

That difference matters. A migration team may be able to transfer many accounts in principle, but the included license does not automatically entitle Cloud 1 to host them as separate cPanel accounts afterward. The published cPanel Admin upgrade allows up to five accounts for $19.95 per month, with larger licenses priced separately. Inventory the number of accounts you actually need before requesting a bulk move.

The 30-day backup history is a paid add-on

The VPS page mentions Cloud Remote Backup among its features, but the dedicated backup page makes the commercial boundary clearer: the 80GB option matching Cloud 1 is a $9.95 add-on, with daily off-site copies and restoration points covering up to 30 days.

At the current $59.95 regular display, adding that 80GB backup would make a conditional $69.90 monthly base-plus-backup budget before tax and other extras. That is arithmetic, not an invoice. Confirm the add-on cycle and final order. Also keep an independent export; provider backups should not be your only recovery path.

Use the VPS-specific seven-day rule, not the generic cart footer

The current Terms of Service say the 45-day guarantee applies to several non-VPS hosting products, while VPS Hosting gets seven days from activation. They also exclude add-ons such as Cloud Remote Backup and paid cPanel licenses from that guarantee. This is more specific than the generic 45-day message visible in the domain-first cart.

For unexpected renewals, VPS requests generally have a two-day window, but monthly billing-cycle renewals are explicitly non-refundable. Cancellation can be immediate or scheduled for the end of the billing period, and the Billing team sends confirmation after processing. Save that confirmation instead of assuming that stopping use cancels the service.

Test one representative site before moving production

A low-risk acceptance sequence is straightforward: keep the old host, inventory files, databases, email and cPanel account count, then request one representative migration. Check the copied site, forms, logins, mail and resource use. If you buy Remote Backup, create an independent export as well and verify a disposable restore before changing production DNS.

Choose Cloud 1 when the 2-core/4GB envelope fits, one cPanel account is enough or the license upgrade is budgeted, and managed server work is more valuable than raw administrative freedom. Skip it when you need many isolated cPanel accounts, included backups at the base price, or a checkout price you cannot verify.
