Kajabi Growth Annual vs Monthly: The Payment-10 Break-Even

The short answer

Kajabi Growth currently costs **US$249 month to month** or **US$199 per month billed annually**. That means **US$2,988 across twelve monthly payments** versus **US$2,388 charged upfront** for the annual term—a **US$600 base-cost difference** before tax, payment processing, paid extras or promotions.

Annual is not cheaper on day one. It first has the lower cumulative base cost when the **tenth** US$249 monthly invoice would arrive. That timing, plus Kajabi's non-locked renewal price and cancellation consequences, is the real decision.

Quick verdict

Choose **monthly billing** if Growth is not operationally proven, revenue is uneven, or you may leave within nine paid months. Nine payments total **US$2,241**, which is **US$147 less cash** than the annual invoice. You keep the option to stop future Kajabi subscription payments without funding the remaining year.

Choose **annual billing** if Growth is validated, you expect at least ten paid months, and paying **US$2,388 upfront** will not impair operating cash. At payment 10, monthly reaches **US$2,490**, US$102 above annual; at payment 12, the gap reaches US$600.

This is billing cadence, not plan choice. Toolnavia already has a Growth-versus-Basic page. Here, Growth's features stay fixed.

Same Growth plan, two invoice shapes

The annual card says **US$199/mo billed annually**. It is a monthly equivalent, not a cancellable US$199 invoice. The annual checkout shows **US$2,388 due for the year**, before tax.

The monthly card is **US$249/mo**. Twelve renewals at today's base rate equal US$2,988. Independent checks from September and October 2026 reproduce the same pair and US$600 difference.

Both paths buy Growth with 50 products, 25,000 contacts, one website, one community and 11 admins, plus advanced automations and an affiliate program. Cadence does not raise those limits.

Break-even arrives with payment 10

- Payment 1: monthly US$249; annual US$2,388 upfront. - Payment 9: monthly US$2,241, still US$147 below annual. - Payment 10: monthly US$2,490, now US$102 above annual. - Payment 12: monthly US$2,988, US$600 above annual.

The crossover is **US$2,388 ÷ US$249 = 9.59 payments**. Because invoices are whole payments, annual first wins at payment 10.

This excludes tax, temporary offers, processing and paid extras, and assumes today's price for every monthly renewal. A promotion or legacy rate can move the crossover; compare your itemized checkout.

The 30-day guarantee is not a perpetual exit

Kajabi's current pricing and annual checkout present a **30-day money-back guarantee**. It reduces early risk, but should not be stretched into an assumption that unused annual months are refundable later.

Cancellation stops future Kajabi payments and keeps the account active only until the current billing period ends. Then the site becomes inactive and customers lose access to purchased products. The public pages reviewed do not promise a prorated refund after the guarantee window. Fees & Figures documented the same uncertainty.

Save the guarantee terms at checkout and ask how a day-31 cancellation would be treated. Budget conservatively: after the window, assume annual cash remains committed unless confirmed otherwise in writing.

Annual renewal pricing is not locked

Kajabi says annual pricing may change at renewal. A higher renewal reflects the then-current published rate; there is no price lock or renewal discount to offset increases.

US$2,388 is today's first-year base, not a promise for later years. Before renewal, open **Settings → Subscription & Billing**, record the next charge and compare it again.

Plan changes may charge a prorated amount and unlock features immediately, or take effect at billing-cycle end. Do not infer that changing cadence refunds unused annual time. Confirm effective date, credit and next charge first.

Limits and paid extras change cash needs

Growth includes 50 products, 25,000 contacts, one site, one community and 11 admins. Current help lists limit increases such as 5,000 contacts for US$25 per month and one admin for US$5 per month.

If the base plan is annual, a limit increase is charged annually by default; monthly plans receive monthly limit-increase billing. Split cadence requires support. That can create another upfront cash event.

Model likely list, product and staff growth before prepaying. The US$600 saving is real at base-plan level, but does not cap capacity or processing costs. Kajabi's separate payment-provider fee policy still applies to sales and is outside this subscription-only model.

Cancellation has operational consequences

When the paid period ends, account, site and member access stop, and custom domains disconnect. Kajabi recommends exporting videos and customer lists; customer data may be deleted 90 days after termination.

Canceling the Kajabi account also does not automatically cancel subscriptions sold to customers through Kajabi Payments, Stripe or PayPal. Those recurring charges require separate handling even though product access ends.

Monthly reduces prepaid exposure, but not migration work. Annual buyers should maintain exports well before renewal.

Conflicting 2026 price pages

A September Zanfia page describes a prior four-plan structure and lists Growth at US$159 annual-equivalent or US$199 monthly. That conflicts with current Kajabi pricing, current checkout and four recent independent checks showing US$199 annual-equivalent and US$249 monthly.

Live official pages control. Older terms may apply to legacy accounts, but switching from legacy is permanent. If your dashboard differs, use its account-specific quote.

Checkout checklist

Before annual billing, verify: Growth, USD market, US$199 monthly equivalent, US$2,388 due now, tax, guarantee deadline, renewal date, next-renewal amount, limits, paid-extra cadence and promotion.

Before monthly billing, verify: Growth, US$249 each renewal, tax, cancellation date, limits, payment-provider fees and how a later annual switch changes the cycle.

**Bottom line:** monthly uses less base cash through nine payments. Annual becomes cheaper at payment 10 and saves US$600 over twelve months, but requires US$2,388 upfront, has no renewal price lock, and is not a promised prorated exit after the guarantee window.
