TOOLNAVIA / BUYING GUIDE
Verpex Bronze Cancellation: Hosting Ends, the Domain Does Not
The short answer
Verpex Bronze cancellation has one especially important boundary: **canceling the hosting does not cancel the domain registration**. Bronze is the exact one-site cPanel plan in this guide, and Verpex's cancellation documentation says websites, add-on domains, subdomains and email accounts under the hosting can be suspended or terminated when the main service ends.
At a glance
- Best for
- Bronze users planning cPanel export while preserving domain control.
- Price model
- Eligible hosting has a 30-day guarantee; domain charges are separate
- Check first
- Hosting cancellation can terminate site/email access; domain and DNS must be handled separately.
Back up the whole cPanel account first
Verpex explicitly tells customers to take a full cPanel backup before cancellation. Its cPanel backup guide covers home-directory data, databases, email accounts and settings. Generate the archive, download it outside the Verpex account, and inspect or restore it before ending service.
A backup that stays on the hosting account is not a safe exit copy because the account that stores it is the thing being canceled.
Hosting and domain have separate lifecycles
Verpex says canceling hosting does **not** cancel an associated domain registration. Domains are also excluded from the hosting money-back guarantee. If you want the domain to move, registrar transfer is a separate process and can require unlock/authorization-code steps under the domain terms.
That separation is useful: you can move the website and email first while keeping the domain registered at Verpex, then transfer the registrar later if you want fewer simultaneous changes.
Refund scope is first-term and product-specific
Bronze advertises a 30-day money-back guarantee, but Verpex's terms exclude domain registration, renewal and transfer fees and some other services. The guarantee belongs to eligible hosting, not every line item on the account.
Save the purchase date, invoice and written cancellation/refund response. Do not infer refund coverage from the fact that the domain and hosting were ordered together.
Migrate before nameserver cutover
For compatible cPanel moves, Verpex documents full-backup migration and then updating nameservers after the destination copy is ready. That sequence should stay reversible: restore/test the destination, confirm databases and mailboxes, then switch DNS.
Do not cancel the old Bronze account until the new site works over HTTPS and the new email route has been tested.
Fair-use limits can affect what you export
Bronze is a shared-hosting plan with fair-use controls. Verpex's broader shared-hosting policies limit certain storage-heavy or backup/archive uses, so do not treat the live hosting account itself as a permanent backup repository.
Other providers' rules are not Verpex rules
HostPapa, HostArmada, UltaHost and Cloudways use different refund timing, data retention and billing-stop mechanics. None of those policies changes Verpex's 30-day hosting guarantee or the fact that domain registration remains separate from hosting cancellation.
Exit checklist
Before canceling Bronze: create/download a full cPanel backup; verify files, database and mail; build the destination; test it; switch nameservers/DNS; confirm incoming/outgoing mail; decide separately whether the domain stays at Verpex or transfers; then request hosting cancellation and save the written result.
