Verpex Bronze vs GreenGeeks Pro: 1 Site or Unlimited Sites?

The short answer

Verpex Bronze and GreenGeeks Pro sit in the same shared-hosting category but are built for different site portfolios. Verpex Bronze publishes **1 website, 30GB NVMe, 1GB RAM and 1 vCPU** with a **US$6/month renewal display**. GreenGeeks Pro publishes **unlimited websites and 50GB web space**, currently at **US$4.95/month prepaid for 12 months**, renewing at **US$18.95/month**.

That makes this less about a universal winner and more about topology. A one-site buyer can prefer Verpex because the compute envelope is explicit and the renewal headline is lower. A multi-site owner can prefer GreenGeeks because one Pro account is designed to hold multiple domains, email accounts and databases without buying separate hosting plans.

Quick verdict

Choose **Verpex Bronze** when you have one production site, want cPanel with an explicit 1GB/1-vCPU shared-account envelope, and value a low-friction monthly path more than multi-site capacity.

Choose **GreenGeeks Pro** when several modest websites need one cPanel account, 50GB of space and direct access to GreenGeeks system restores—and you are willing to prepay 12 months at the promotional rate.

Neither plan should be purchased because a third-party page calls it “faster.” No controlled benchmark was run here.

Entry price and renewal use different clocks

Verpex markets shared hosting from **US$0.60 for the first month** and lists Bronze renewal at **US$6/month**. The important phrase is “first month”: it is not a 12-month equivalent price. If your Bronze invoice becomes US$6 monthly after the opening month, a simple 12-month planning model is US$0.60 + 11 × US$6 = **US$66.60**, before tax or checkout changes.

GreenGeeks Pro uses a different model: **US$4.95/month prepaid for 12 months**, which is **US$59.40 for the first year** by arithmetic, then a displayed **US$18.95/month renewal** or US$227.40 for a full renewal year if unchanged.

So GreenGeeks can be cheaper in first-year cash even though Verpex has the much smaller first-month number. Verpex can then look cheaper at the displayed ongoing monthly renewal. Compare a matched time horizon, not the smallest badge.

One site with explicit compute versus many sites sharing one account

Verpex Bronze states 1GB RAM and 1 vCPU. That is useful for capacity planning because you know the published ceiling attached to the account. The trade-off is one website.

GreenGeeks Pro lists unlimited websites and 50GB web space. GreenGeeks also explains that “unlimited” never means infinite CPU, memory, I/O or inode consumption; shared accounts still operate inside finite physical resources and excessive use can trigger alerts or restrictions.

If you plan five brochure sites, GreenGeeks' topology can be a better fit even without a public per-plan RAM number on the pricing page. If you run one plugin-heavy WordPress site, Verpex's explicit 1GB ceiling at least gives you a concrete threshold to monitor.

Backup badges hide different ownership rules

Verpex Bronze lists **daily backups**, but the public plan table used here does not state a retention count. Its acceptable-use policy also says local generated backups must be kept to a minimum and the account cannot be used as an offsite backup facility.

GreenGeeks aims to keep about **30 recovery backup sets**, and Pro customers have direct access to system backups. GreenGeeks simultaneously says user-generated backups are not archival storage and are normally removed from hosting after about 48 hours.

This means neither product should be your only archive. Export at least one copy to storage you control and test a restore before changing themes, plugins or DNS.

A 50GB account does not mean a 50GB one-click archive

GreenGeeks lets accounts under 10GB generate a full cPanel backup from the normal tool. Once the account is larger, its documentation directs customers toward separate file/database copies or a provider-assisted full backup path.

That limitation matters more on Pro because the plan can host multiple sites and 50GB. If your goal is easy whole-account portability, test the backup workflow while the account is still small instead of discovering the threshold during an emergency.

Verpex's 30GB account also has fair-use boundaries: multimedia should stay within its stated policy, very large databases can be considered excessive, and the hosting space is not meant to become a generic file repository.

Free-domain language needs the billing term beside it

Verpex says its free domain does **not** apply on monthly billing and depends on eligible TLDs. GreenGeeks Pro includes one domain for the first year.

A buyer choosing Verpex specifically for monthly flexibility should therefore avoid counting a free domain that requires a different billing cycle. A GreenGeeks buyer should price the domain's second year separately from the hosting renewal.

Independent comparisons are useful only for the question, not the answer

Current independent comparisons show genuine search intent around GreenGeeks versus Verpex, but their scores and broad “best host” claims are not used as evidence here. Exact prices, resource boundaries and backup policies come from the providers.

Checkout checklist

For **Verpex Bronze**, confirm the exact first-month charge, the US$6 renewal path, billing cycle, 1 website, 30GB NVMe, 1GB RAM, 1 vCPU, daily-backup retention, free-domain eligibility and fair-use rules.

For **GreenGeeks Pro**, confirm the US$59.40 first-year total, US$18.95/month renewal, 50GB space, number of production sites, current account resource thresholds, backup access, full-backup workflow above 10GB and domain renewal.

**Bottom line:** GreenGeeks Pro is stronger for several sites and has clearer system-backup access; Verpex Bronze is stronger for a single site when explicit 1GB/1-vCPU limits, monthly flexibility and a lower displayed renewal matter more than multi-site scale.
