ReiBoot 1 PC, 5 Devices: What Does the License Actually Cover?
The short answer
ReiBoot's “1 PC, 5 devices” wording describes two different limits. One Windows computer may run the licensed software, while up to five iPhones or iPads can be counted under that registration. It does not mean five computers, and it does not make a Windows license valid on a Mac.
At a glance
- Best for
- A household using one Windows repair computer with no more than five personal iPhones or iPads.
- Price model
- Current Windows baseline $49.95/year tax excluded for 1 PC + 5 devices
- Check first
- One host computer, five mobile devices; Windows and Mac licenses are separate.
Separate the host computer from the phones
The host is the Windows PC where ReiBoot is installed and registered. Tenorshare's EULA ties installation to the number of computers and devices purchased. The mobile-device allowance is the set of supported Apple devices you connect for repair. Tenorshare's FAQ says a personal license is registered on one PC or one Mac; after five mobile devices, the code can report that the device limit has been exceeded.
This distinction matters for households. A parent with one repair laptop and several family iPhones may fit the personal plan. A technician using two workstations does not, even if only one iPhone is connected at a time.
The current yearly baseline
The current Windows checkout lists $49.95 per year, tax excluded, for one PC and five mobile devices. The subscription can auto-renew, so recheck the live renewal terms. Windows and Mac licenses are separate; the checkout explicitly says they are not cross-platform.
When five devices is enough
Five devices can cover a small household if they all use the same Windows repair computer. Keep a roster of each iPhone or iPad you activate. Replacements can consume the allowance, so contact support before assuming a retired phone disappears automatically. Record the device model, serial-number suffix, activation date and support ticket; that audit trail makes an exceeded-limit dispute easier to explain.
The vendor says a computer-change registration reset may be available twice after server confirmation. Treat that as a support process, not a second-computer entitlement.
When the personal plan is the wrong fit
If you need more than five mobile devices, more than one host computer, company use or repeat customer jobs, compare business licensing. The current page lists 10-device, 15-device and unlimited-device annual options, but each displayed option still says one PC. Ask for written confirmation before assuming “unlimited devices” also means unlimited computers.
Competitors use similar dual limits: iMyFone Fixppo and UltFone show mobile-device counts separately from the host PC. Independent reviews also describe ReiBoot's personal boundary as one PC and up to five devices.
Before you pay
1. Count the Windows or Mac computers that must run ReiBoot. 2. Count every iPhone/iPad expected during the term. 3. Confirm the chosen platform; Windows and Mac codes are separate. 4. Ask support how replacement devices and computer resets affect your count. 5. If the workflow is commercial or exceeds either limit, request the matching business license.
Buying rule
Choose the personal yearly plan for one host computer and no more than five personal mobile devices. Do not buy it for a two-computer workflow or a repair business without confirming a higher license. Recheck price, tax, auto-renewal and device-reset terms at checkout.
