SocialPilot Standard vs Premium: Are Client Approvals Worth the Jump?
The short answer
SocialPilot Standard and Premium solve different operating models. Standard is currently $34/month billed yearly with 10 social accounts and 3 users. Premium is $85 with 20 accounts, 6 users, advanced analytics, client approval and white-label reports.
At a glance
- Best for
- A team that already needs client approval or branded reporting, or more than Standard's 10 accounts / 3 users.
- Price model
- Standard $34/mo yearly; Premium $85/mo yearly
- Check first
- Premium only pays off if client workflow or larger capacity is real.
Standard is still the internal-team tier
A small in-house team can schedule, collaborate and handle a Social Media Inbox on Standard without paying agency-tier pricing. If work stays inside one company, client approval and white-label reporting may have no value.
Client approval is the clean Premium trigger
When posts must be reviewed by external clients before publishing, Premium's client approval workflow becomes operational rather than cosmetic. It can replace scattered email or chat approval loops, although it cannot make clients respond faster.
White-label reports matter only when you deliver them
Premium also adds white-label reporting and more advanced analytics. For an agency sending recurring client reports, removing another manual rebranding/export step can justify part of the price gap. For an internal marketing team, it may be unnecessary.
Capacity is a second reason
Premium raises social accounts from 10 to 20 and users from 3 to 6. Do not buy it for theoretical headroom. Count real profiles and people who need access now or within the paid year.
Compare agency models
Buffer, Hootsuite and Later package channels, users and team/client features differently. If client approval or white-label reporting drives the decision, compare those workflow structures rather than only post-scheduling features.
SocialPilot's affiliate program is public, but Toolnavia approval and tracking are unverified.
Buying rule
Stay Standard for an internal team that fits 10 accounts and 3 users. Move to Premium when client approval, white-label reporting, or the 11th–20th account / 4th–6th user is a real recurring need. Verify live pricing before checkout.
