Pressidium Starter Limits 2026: 50K Visits, 50GB CDN—Then What?
The short answer
At a glance
- Best for
- One business WordPress site whose storage/visits/CDN fit Starter, especially buyers who want to model CDN, extra-site and backup-frequency add-ons before scaling.
- Price model
- $249/year or $24.90 monthly; 50GB CDN included then $0.10/GB; extra site $15/mo; 6h backup $20/mo/site; hourly $100/mo/site
- Check first
- 50K is a design target, not a performance guarantee; CDN is metered separately from unlimited origin bandwidth; backup types have different retention; add-on prices can change.
Verdict
Pressidium Starter is not just a $21 managed WordPress plan. Its real buying limits are **1 site, 10GB storage, a 50K-visit design target and 50GB of included CDN traffic**. The most important metered cost is CDN usage at **$0.10/GB** beyond the included amount.
Base price: annual saves money, monthly keeps flexibility
Starter currently shows **$21/month equivalent on annual billing**, with **$249 due today**. Regular month-to-month billing is **$24.90**.
Twelve unchanged monthly payments would be $298.80, so the annual plan saves $49.80 against that simple current-price model. But annual billing also commits the cash upfront.
The right sequence is simple: prove the site fits the traffic, storage and CDN profile first; then use annual billing if the $49.80 saving matters more than monthly flexibility.
50K visits is a design target—50GB CDN is the explicit meter
Pressidium describes Starter as **designed for 50K unique visits per month** while also listing origin bandwidth as unlimited. Separately, the plan includes **50GB of HTTP/3 enterprise CDN traffic**.
Those are different concepts. A site can stay under 50K visits and still use substantial CDN traffic if pages contain large images, downloads or other heavy assets.
Pressidium explicitly prices CDN overage at **$0.10/GB**. That makes usage math straightforward:
- 80GB CDN use: 30GB over → **$3** - 150GB CDN use: 100GB over → **$10** - 250GB CDN use: 200GB over → **$20**
Bulk CDN traffic also starts at **$20 for 200GB/month**, so buyers with predictable higher traffic should compare the bulk option with metered overage rather than assuming “unlimited bandwidth” means unlimited CDN delivery.
Extra websites can make Pro cheaper than expanding Starter
Starter allows **one WordPress site**. An extra website add-on is currently **$15/month/site**.
If you need three sites, keeping Starter and adding two extra sites would make the base annual-equivalent arithmetic about **$51/month** before other add-ons: $21 + $30.
Pressidium Pro currently starts at **$42/month equivalent annually** and includes three WordPress sites, 20GB storage and 100GB CDN traffic.
That means a buyer needing three sites should compare an upgrade to Pro before stacking two extra-site add-ons. The add-on is useful for edge cases, but it is not automatically the cheapest scaling path.
Backup retention has an important documentation nuance
The Entry Plans table says **Automated Backups (30 Days Retention)**.
Pressidium's detailed backup KB is more specific: every 24 hours it creates one **Instant backup** and one **Offsite backup**; Instant backups retain **15 days**, while Offsite backups retain **30 days**.
This is not necessarily a contradiction if “30 days” on the plan page refers to the offsite recovery layer, but buyers should understand that the two backup types have different retention.
Pressidium also publishes default file/folder exclusions for Instant backups. For business-critical sites, keep an independent export and perform one restore test rather than assuming every file is covered identically.
More frequent backups can change the monthly bill quickly
Starter's normal automated cycle is daily.
For sites with continuously changing data, Pressidium currently sells **6-hour backups at $20/month/site** and **hourly backups at $100/month/site**.
That can materially change the economics:
- Starter annual-equivalent base + 6-hour backups: about **$41/month** - Starter annual-equivalent base + hourly backups: about **$121/month**
For a brochure site, daily backups may be plenty. For ecommerce, membership or news sites, the question is how much data can be lost between restore points. Price the required recovery-point objective before choosing the hosting plan.
Who should buy Starter—and what to verify
Starter fits best when one WordPress site stays comfortably inside **10GB storage**, around its **50K visit design target**, and normally uses **≤50GB CDN traffic** or has inexpensive predictable overage.
It is also a good fit when staging, one premium migration, WAF, malware removal, managed updates, Redis and 24/7 DevOps support replace tools or staff time you would otherwise pay for separately.
Before checkout, confirm annual versus monthly billing, the exact first invoice, current CDN overage/bulk rate, storage, visit pattern, backup retention type, migration scope and any extra-site or higher-frequency-backup add-ons.
**Bottom line:** Pressidium Starter is predictable when you separate the meters. The base plan is $249/year, but CDN use, extra sites and backup frequency can change the real bill. For one business WordPress site within the included capacity, the plan is clean; for multiple sites or higher CDN/backup needs, compare the next plan before stacking add-ons.
