Conditions to check before claiming
Apply through the official nonprofit campaign page linked as the source, and ask Cloudways to approve the benefit for your Flexible hosting account. Eligibility is limited to recognized nonprofits that are noncommercial, nonpolitical and have no religious affiliation. You may apply before becoming a customer. The published benefit is 20% off hosting for one year after approval; it is not an annual prepaid package or an unlimited free account. The campaign cannot be combined with another Cloudways offer. There is no reusable public code, and submitting the form does not guarantee approval. Confirm the applicable services and activation/end dates with Cloudways before relying on the saving. Flexible usage is billed in USD in arrears. The previous month's usage is invoiced monthly, with the unpaid balance automatically charged to the saved payment method. The campaign's specific FAQ requires credit/debit-card verification, despite a generic no-card slogan elsewhere on the page; current billing documentation also supports recurring PayPal after account upgrade. Check the actual approved discount under Billing > Credits & Discounts. After the one-year benefit ends, ongoing resources are charged at then-current standard rates. Taxes, add-ons and usage overages can increase the total; this card does not promise a 20% reduction on every ancillary charge. The campaign's older starting-price snippets are not used as current server quotes. Choose the needed provider/resources on the pricing page and compare the approved discounted charge with the regular charge for that same configuration. Stopping a DigitalOcean, Linode or Vultr server does not stop its billing: delete unneeded resources and follow account-cancellation steps when leaving; a final usage invoice can follow. No fixed application deadline is published.
